Birthday Parties

Have a fun birthday celebration for your child at Higher Fire!  The birthday child and his or her buddies will have a blast!

We suggest a 1+1/2 hour session, which gives the kids a chance to both "throw" pots on the potter's wheel and do some handbuilding and sculpting of cool creatures.

We can easily accommodate up to 10 children.  If there are 6 or more kids, we provide 2 instructors to give them lots of hands-on attention.

Each child usually makes 2-3 pieces during the party.  Unless you want the children to return a few weeks later to glaze their own pieces, at the
end of the party we take down color choices and do the glazing for them.  The pieces are ready to be picked up about 3 weeks later.

For a 1+1/2 hour party, the fee is $40 per child.  This includes all materials, firings, and expert instruction, plus we glaze the pieces.

We suggest that you have cake and any other food before or after the studio party at another location.
